Connor and the Bear

Connor walked in the forest, looking for any animals that he could hunt. The many years hunting for his tribe had payed off. His ears could listen what the others couldn't  hear, his eyes could see as far as an eagle ones, and see what other missed. He learned how to walk silently, a usefull skill both for hunting and assassinating.
Climbing the nearest tree, he waited. He was used to wainting, and quickly began to search for a comfortable position in the tree branches. The sun quickly set, and he didn't see anything worth hunting.
Then, he saw it. The most beautiful creature to walk on this earth.  His eyes were brown, a deep brown that could see trough you soul. His fur was brown too, but with the sunlight it looked like gold.
He didn't had the courage to kill such magnificent animal. He quietly climbed down the tree, carefully so he wouldn't scare him. But, alas, destiny and irony are friends. While he was climbind down, paying attention to the bear, he didn't see the weak branch that stepped on, and fell on the floor with a big THUMP!.
The bear was scared, but didn't ran away, a strange thing for an animal to do. Rather, we walk to Connor's, somewhat checking if the man was okay.
Connor soon saw the brown eyes that had hipnotised him. He got up slowly, not wanting to scare the bear. Then he slowly patted his head. His fur was very soft and warm.
-You're so beautiful.- whispered Connor.
The bear growled in response, and licked his face, and Connor laughed a little.
Soon , the two of them started meeting together everyday. The bear gave Connor some fish that he had hunted that day, and Connor would always rub his belly.
One day, as the two of them were watching  the sunset, side by side, Connor said:
-Oh, Bear, if half the people I know were like you. I love you so much!
- Rarw! (I love you too Connor)
